Whole School Photograph – Tuesday 5 June 2007

A whole school photograph will be taken next week on Tuesday 5 June in the morning.
As you may be aware, the last school photograph was taken two years ago and we are looking forward to having an up-to-date photograph taken. Once again we have employed Tempest, a company which specialises in this type of photography.

On 5 June, children should be sent to school in their smart summer uniform as follows:

GIRLS:
Red and white checked summer dresses (Not Blue)
Long white socks
Smart and polished shoes/sandals

BOYS:
Red and white checked shirts (long sleeved)
Navy shorts
Red socks (knee length)
Smart and polished shoes/sandals

Children should also bring with them a hairbrush or comb on that day. Your assistance in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Should the weather be such that it is not possible for the photograph to be taken on that day, you will be advised as to an alternative date. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for a sunny morning!

Cancellation of Tuesday Swimming at the Aubigny Centre.

Unfortunately due to essential maintenance work the Aubigny Centre swimming pool will be closed from 4 – 22 June inclusive. Therefore there will be no school swimming on Tuesday 5, 12 or 19 June. Please collect your child from school at the usual time of 3pm or 3.30pm as appropriate.

If you would like your child to attend Compass Care on these Tuesdays then please phone Mr Goddard on 07773310624 to make arrangements. Please phone as soon as possible as there are limited number of places available.
School Book Fair.

Thank you very much for your support of this event last week – once again it was extremely successful and allowed the School to purchase over £450 of books for the School library.

Tesco Computer Vouchers.

Thank you for your continued support of this Scheme. Our total of vouchers already handed in for this year is currently about 6470 – significantly higher than this time last year.

Please could you hand in any vouchers that you may still have at home by next Friday 8 June.

Saturday Summer Hockey Club

Please note that Hockey Club will take place this coming Saturday 2 June but it is cancelled for Saturday 9 June – due to another school sporting commitment.

Garden Tour – Thursday 7 June.

There are still a few tickets left for the Garden Tour Day next Thursday 7 June. This event is being organised by the Compass School Foundation and tickets are available from the School Office at a cost of £25 each, which includes lunch and transport.
